Zines

I created a series called Music Worth Listening To to further explore my passion for design and music. Each zine in the collection is inspired by an album or EP that has resonated with me, translating its sound and emotion into a unique visual experience. The first in the series is a one-page, foldable zine dedicated to Health by Medium Build, designed using a bold, limited palette of blue, white, and black to reflect the raw energy of the music.

The first zine I designed in this series is centered around A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships by The 1975. As the project that kicked off Music Worth Listening To, it allowed me to experiment with visually interpreting an album through design. Each spread pairs lyrics with a unique layout, capturing the essence of the music through typography, color, and composition. This zine received two Addy awards from the American Advertising Federation: an AAF State Silver Addy Award and an AAF District 7 Gold Addy Award. Explore the flipbook below to see all the spreads.

In order to continue to foster my love for design and music I chose to create a third edition in my Music Worth Listening To Series. I chose to design one of my favorite albums from this past year called Stick Season by Noah Kahan. Dive into the lyrics and the feeling of the music while flipping through this all green zine.
