My artwork often delves into themes surrounding the climate crisis, exemplified by my transition from simplistic posters in a previous project to more intricate screen prints. In 2021, as I learned the art of screen printing, I created a maximalist river scene using my iPad, complemented with text from Illustrator, resulting in a self-produced poster. Additionally, my fascination with cities, nature, and maps is evident in two screen prints contrasting the city map of Birmingham, AL, with the topography of Grand Canyon National Park. Both prints, predominantly in black ink, highlight the significant disparity in green space between urban and natural landscapes. Furthermore, I chose to immortalize historical artists and their iconic quotes through postcards, offering a diverse selection of eight artists to resonate with and admire.
